Seasonally Impacted
I've got a bit of a love-hate relationship with autumn. I love the fall colors. I like the fact that the bugs disappear. I enjoy cooking comfort foods... chili... winter squash... pot roast in a slow cooker. But like trees and perennials, bears and groundhogs, I want to hibernate. During the spring and summer months, I love getting up early and doing stuff all day. When the fall hits, I just can't seem to get out of bed.

And I'm the seasonal opposite- I would just as soon hibernate thru Spring and Summer and wake up for the autumn and winter Glories.
The only thing I DON'T like about Autumn is my allergies seem to be at full tilt at that time. Worse than in spring.
Think I'll make a stew today....Thanks for giving me the idea!!!
That's just weird. (The seasonal part, not the food. The food sounds good.)
I actually function better in the Autumn because it's the one time of year that the weather matches what the weather's like almost all year round back in England.
Let's just say that the first Summer I spent over here, I seriously questioned whether I'd be able to handle it.
When you come from a country where 70 degrees is considered a 'heatwave' and your skin type matches your Scottish and Irish ancestry, 100 degree temperatures aren't much fun.
Without sunscreen, I can end up with painful sunburn after less than twenty minues in the mid-day sun...and my diabetes meds actually make that much worse.
Yeah...I like Autumn and Winter.
You, like your wife, just aren't right.
